Here are some questions that I have to answer.

What are two reasons Mercury lost most of its atmosphere: Mercury has lost its atmosphere because the smaller that planet is the weaker the gravity is to hold the planet. Another reason why Mercury has lost most of its atmosphere is because its closer to the sun and the sun melts the atmosphere.

Compare how close Mercury and the earth are to the sun: Mercury is closer to the sun than Earth is. 

Mercury's distance from the sun: 54.161 million km

Earth's distance from the sun: 147.91 million km

How much Mass does Mercury and Earth have:

The amount of Mass Mercury has: 6.39 

Earths amount of Mass: 5.972

How does not having an atmosphere affect the temperature on Mercury.

Mercury is both hot and cold and the temperature can reach up to (800 F) 

Bonus questions: where do the names Mercury and Whiro come from? What are some names for the planet:

There are many Maori names for many different planets. Whiro is Mercury.

Other names for other planets are ( Kopu for Venus) (Tawera for the morning star and Meremere-tu-ahiahi as the evening star. (Earth as Te Ao and last but not least Marama for the Moon.

2011 CH CH quakes.

 Aloha my amazing readers and welcome to another post of mine. Today's post is about the 2011 CH CH earthquakes. The 2011 earthquakes caused a lot of damage to CH CH and also caused a lot of deaths. 

Anyways this is my work of the 2011 CH CH earthquakes.

Hope you enjoy the slideshow. If there is another dangerous quake you all should know what to do to stay safe. Make sure that during an earthquake stay where you are and stay with and adult or someone who can help you.

Gravity

Hey guys welcome to my blog. Today's post is about gravity. Here are some questions I have researched. 

 1) Is gravity the same on all planets?: No, because all planets are different sizes. 

 2) How is gravity related to mass?: Different objects with more mass has the most gravity. 

 3) Calculate your weight on the other planets in our solar system.:  On earth I weigh 40kg but on Mercury I would weigh 15.1kg. On Venus I would weigh 36.4kg. Mars is 15.2. Jupiter 93.6. Saturn 37.2. Uranus 36.8 and last but not least Neptune 44.8. 

 4) how would your life be different if you lived on a planet with the highest gravity?: My life would be different with me living on a planet with higher gravity because the more gravity there is the harder to jump or climb hills or even run. so that's how my life would be different on a planet with the highest gravity.
