Hot Spot Doc Writing

Hello guys welcome back to my blog. Today I will be showing you my hot spot doc writing.

In our writing we have been learning to start each sentence starting with the. We have also been learning to use the five senses in our writing and the five senses are, See, Hear, Fell, Touch, Smell.

When I do it I sometimes forget to add the five senses.

Here is a picture of the picture we have to describe.

This picture is what we have to describe. Here are the words that I wrote describing the picture.

Find five things related to the senses to describe
in this image. Start each one with ‘The…’

1. The thunder was so so loud it gave me a headache.
2. The lighting was so bright it hurt my eyes.
3. The lighting was hitting some rocks so hard that I could smell something burning.
4. The ocean was so so cold I couldn't touch it.
5. The waves where splashing so hard that the water went up into the air and on to me then I could taste the salt water..

All about Crystals

Hey guys. Today I will be talking about crystals.

For crystals to grow they need three things. Crystals need water, space and time to grow.
My class have been making and learning about crystals for our earth science. What we used for our crystal making is Borax and hot water. Our lovely and nice teacher put the Borax and hot water into a big huge bucket and then she mixed it all up and then we all had to make our shape of our crystals. We made the crystal shape using wight pipe cleaners. After we did that we got some string, a pencil, scissors and a cup. After we got all of those things we had to unwrap some of the string and then when we had to cut the string and tie it on to the pencil and then the crystal then we put it in the cup. For the crystal to grow in the cup the crystal(pipe cleaners) had to be off the bottom of the cup.
