Today I will be talking about last night and yesterday.
So yesterday, the choir went to Horncastle Arena. We had to be at school before 8:30 because that's when the bus arrived at my school. We got to Horncastle Arena just about 9:30. We started to practice the songs at 10:00. There was almost over 10 schools at Horncastle Arena.
Anyways we had to practice all of the songs for just about 3 hours but we did do I think it was 5 songs and then we had morning tea.
We had done almost 12 songs there it was fun but also tiring. We got back at school about 12:30. just in the middle of lunch playtime.
That night we had to wear something that was bright and colourful. We couldn't wear sandals, jandals or high heels because we would have to walk up and down stairs.
When we were performing that night it was so fun and bright because of the lights. The lights were shinning everywhere. The lights were so bright that they were hurting my eyes and then I started to get a headache because of the lights and also because of all of the noise.
The performance ended at 9:00 but I had to stay in the car park for about half an hour because my dad and I we had to wait until my sisters school bus left. My dad then called Tehya and asked her if her bus had already left and she said yes so then we put our seat belts on and then my dad drove to Hornby high school.
We went to the high school so that we could pick up my sister Tehya and her friends Kayle and Haley.
We had to drop off them both at there houses because there parents couldn't pick them up from Horncastle Arena and they also couldn't come to their performance because they finished work after the performance started.
Anyways after we did that it was about like 10:30 at night. We then went to McDonald's and we all got a frozen coke. We then went home and watched movies but Tehya and I didn't drink all of our frozen coke so we both saved it till the morning.
Here are some pictures of the performance. Hope you like them.
